Escape the hustle of life and come join me for a peaceful morning at my family farm. Take a wander through my little cut flower garden taking in the beauty of the Dahlias, Garden Roses and Zinnia’s in their prime whilst enjoying a cuppa and home baked cake whilst I chat all things flowers.

I often get asked how do I get flowers to sit so well in the vase. We buy flowers for the house or simply want to create beautiful vases full of blooms from the garden, but it just doesn’t look right or seems to slip too low in to the vase or tumbles out, so what are you doing wrong you ask? Well let me show you some techniques on how arrange a gorgeous bunch of blooms and get them to sit perfectly in your vase.

I will also cover the use of all foliage designs, bringing a beautiful freshness and modern feel to your kitchen or living space as seen in those designer magazines. An inexpensive and effective way to bring nature into your home. We often overlook how stunning foliage is, well I love it and spend many hours foraging for the perfect branchy stems to create my designs or simply just to create a statement on its own. I will share with you my favourite foliages and why, explain why vase selection is so important and go through the different shapes and which ones to stay away from and which ones are a must to have in your home collection.

After demonstrating these designs, you will get to create a handtied bouquet for a vase that you can take home to enjoy.
